The Mac App Store edition is free: it scans the folders and disks you choose and moves your files one item at a time. The website edition adds batch moves, Move + Symlink, Move History with restore, and what Apple’s App Sandbox does not allow: moving installed apps and working across the whole disk.

Install from Terminal

Install the universal signed and notarized build from the DiskFreeVault project’s third-party Homebrew tap. It is separate from the default Homebrew Cask catalog.
